1. Information we collect and why

Areto (the "Company") collects the following personal information on areto.studio (the "Site") and uses it only for the purposes below.

· Inquiries: name, email, inquiry type and message (required), phone number (optional). Used to review and answer your inquiry.

· Newsletter: email. Used to send the newsletter.

· Early access sign-ups: the email or mobile number shown on the form, your interest and referral information. Used for launch notices and follow-up.

· Collected automatically: IP address, browser information and access times in server logs. Used for security and operating the Site.

2. Retention

The Company deletes personal information without delay once its purpose is fulfilled.

· Inquiries: kept for one year after we reply, then deleted.

· Newsletter and early access sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

· Where the law requires longer retention, we keep the information for that period.

3. Sharing with third parties

The Company does not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law.

4. Processors and international transfer

The Company uses the following processors to run the Site. Your information is transferred to them over the network when you submit a form or visit the Site, and is kept for the periods in section 2.

· Supabase Inc. (United States): stores inquiries

· Discord Inc. (United States): notifies us of inquiries, newsletter and early access sign-ups

· Netlify, Inc. (United States): hosts the Site and processes server logs

If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can contact us by email instead of using the forms.

5. How we delete information

When the retention period ends, electronic records are deleted so that they cannot be recovered.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information at any time by emailing the privacy officer below. We will act on your request without delay.

7. Cookies

The Site uses a cookie only to remember your language setting. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but your language setting may not be kept.

8. Security

All traffic to the Site is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to personal information is limited to the operator.
